Commons Park is the oasis out your front door with access to hundreds of miles of bicycle and running trails on Cherry Creek and the South Platte River.
Riverfront Park also has an amazing plaza with shops and restaurants. Anchored by the Millennium Bridge just two blocks away, you have incredible access to all the wonderful restaurants at Union Station and in LoDo. From the upscale Tavernetta to classic pub grub at Flight Club, you’ll find an array of restaurants sure to satisfy your taste buds. Grocery shopping is a breeze at the nearby King Soopers and Whole Foods, too.
The nearby Union Station is lauded by the international development community as the “right” way to do a transportation hub. There are high end restaurants and places to get a cocktail or local craft beer. It’s an all-around terrific venue to bring friends and family who visit.
With Union Station comes the Colorado A-Line to Denver International Airport. If you are a business traveler or world traveler, living in the Glass House makes it easy to get to the airport. It takes under 10 minutes to WALK (and that includes the elevator ride in the building) to the train. Hop on the train and you are at security in under 35 minutes. It’s faster than a taxi or a friend dropping you off, and it’s a lot cheaper.
Glass House Amenities
If you’re considering a move to downtown Denver, be sure to ask yourself what kind of amenities a building should have for your lifestyle. The Glass House is likely to check every one of the boxes. Located on the 8th Floor, the Glass House Pool is one of the largest lap pools in a downtown Denver high rise. Having a pool is often very important to homeowners, especially those who enjoy getting outside.
The building also has a full-service gym and is operated and managed by the Homeowners Association. With up-to-date equipment, High Intensity Training Classes and group workouts, the Riverfront Athletic Club makes is easy to stay in shape. We all know that “getting to the gym” is the hardest part of any workout.
Living downtown has many benefits but one of the challenges is parking. The Glass House has a secured parking garage with electric chargers for eco-friendly vehicles and deeded spaces for your car. If you don’t have a car, no problem. There are bicycle stations where you can tune up your bike and top off your tires before you head off into the city.
Having a 24-hour staffed front desk makes life so much easier. These days of being able to order everything online, having a person sign for your packages and securing them is a godsend. Need dog food? No problem. Need wine? They can sign. Need groceries? They’ll put them in the ‘fridge until you get home. You can even drop off your dry cleaning and they’ll make arrangements to have it back by the end of the day. Having a staffed front desk is as close to a hotel concierge as you can get.
