My wife Jenny and I moved into the Glass House in Denver in 2009. We decided that we wanted to be closer to downtown Denver and all the things the city had to offer. At the time, the firehouse at which I worked was a couple of blocks away, and Jenny's office was on Blake Street. The move from Capitol Hill made complete sense for us. I had originally lived in Riverfront Park back in 2002 at Archstone, which is now The Station. I'm not sure if I was trying to relive the glory days, but I'm sure glad we committed to the move.
As homeowners in The Glass House, there are many amazing things that make living here such a blast. I hope for those of you who are thinking of moving downtown and are wondering what it would be like to live in the Glass House, I can shed a little light on some of the top reasons I love living here.
Glass House Community
One of the most important things for me and my family is the strong sense of community the Glass House provides. There is an amazing fellowship among the residents. Every Saturday and Sunday morning, the club space on floor 8 is a place to share a continental style breakfast with your neighbors. Folks pop in after their morning workout and everyone gets the chance to catch up. It's a great way to start the weekend.

The Views from up High
There are many wonderful places to live in downtown Denver. We personally enjoy living in the Glass House because of all the reasons I've mentioned above. The sense of community and belonging is hard to find in any other neighborhood. The location is second to none. The amenities compare to living in a hotel and the views are extraordinary! One day we might move on, but for the foreseeable future, Glass House is definitely HOME!
