This is the perfect venue for a birthday party or family reunion with its far ranging menu of firing options: paintball, laser tag, airsoft and even an virtual reality arcade will keep the youngsters busy. Their outside field is located in Brighton and boasts 65 acres of territory. Planes, boats, cars and other structures become your friendly barricades as you attempt to fire at your opponents. Dardano’s Gymnastics, 2250 Kearney St.

Located nearly in the heart of the Park Hill business district, Dardano’s is synonymous with the sport that engages the youth and provides extraordinary skills that carry into other sports: balance, confidence, strength and hand-eye coordination. For 34 years, the Dardano family, the staff at Dardano’s has been helping kids flip, cartwheel, jump and balance on an assortment of equipment. From parent-toddler sessions to after school classes to summer camps, Dardano’s will get your child coordinating moves beyond your wildest expectation. The gym is complete with uneven bars, trampoline, vault, balance beam, floor, rings, parallel bar, high bar, pommel horse and a tumble trak.

This is a truly wonderful library that takes learning to a whole new level. The Pauline Robinson Library is a special neighborhood resource where kids can bike and take advantage of some amazing events and classes. Have you ever wondered about arm knitting? How about glue salt painting? The library even offers introduction to yoga throughout the year. Offering a fine selection of books, computers and even copying, printing and scanning services, this Denver Public Library branch is sure to become a regular stop for you and your kids. The library is conveniently located across from Skyland Park and next to Roots Elementary.

Station 26, 7045 E. 38th Ave.

This craft brewery located in the northeast section of the neighborhood is a favorite among the locals. Offering a welcoming environment for families and dog lovers, Station 26 get its moniker from its former tenant, Denver Fire Station 26. It has an incredible patio (as in the old driveway) where management has just erected some new sunshades and misters to keep things cool. Savor the exceptional brews and the delectable food from the Order 26 food truck (3-9 p.m. daily). Serving up real American food, the sandwiches and appetizers are the perfect compliment to the extraordinary brewskis. Check out the weekly events at Station 26 on Facebook.
