A busy morning begs the question, “Where can one grab a bite for lunch?” Even Stevens is a sandwich shop with a heart. For every sandwich sold, one is donated to a local non-profit. Juicy Reubens and pot roast delicacies dipped in au jus are on order for the carnivores among us, and cool capreezy and humus creations are prepared for those craving veggies.

Sloan’s Lake Park is one of Denver’s largest. Well appointed with a 2.8 mile walking/biking trail surrounding the lake itself, one can also picnic or enjoy the various recreational areas such as tennis and basketball courts.
Boating and fishing are also fun favorites at Sloan’s Lake. While power boats are permitted, Denver Outdoor Adventure Company offers a calm, guided sunset paddling tour of the lake. The business rents kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards by the hour or by the day – life vests included – and they will also deliver.
