Park Hill Coffee Shops

Park Hill Coffee Shops

Park Hill is one of Denver’s most pleasant and charming neighborhoods. Located in the northeastern area of the city, the neighborhood is diverse, tree-lined and quaint. Park Hill also happens to be one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods. In more recent years, the area has experienced substantial growth, and it now features a variety of fantastic dining options and cozy, contemporary coffee shops. Park Hill’s coffee shops are unique and welcoming–just like Park Hill itself. For both residents and visitors alike, this is a wonderful neighborhood to take a stroll and grab an espresso.

Quince Essential Coffee House, 1447 Quince St.

This quirky coffee shop is located in a charming old house. Quince Essential features a menu of coffee, espresso drinks, breakfast burritos and locally baked goods. Locals love their specialty drink, the Venetian Cream. The creamy, slightly sweet blend features coffee from local roasters Kaladi. Be sure to also try a burrito while you’re there; this featured breakfast item includes plant-based options for vegans and vegetarians.

Quince Essential aims to provide a place for the community to socialize, work and play, and they have ample seating and tables. In addition to their coffee, patrons fall in love with the cozy interior of the house. Featuring original doors, architectural molding and fireplace, the space is homey and welcoming — a perfect spot to enjoy a hot cup of coffee.

Bellwether, 5126 E. Colfax Ave.

Bellwether is part coffee shop, part cocktail shop and part barber shop. What? Stop by for a haircut Tuesday through Saturday! The coffee shop features a great selection of basic espresso drinks, coffee and tea. With liquors directly adjacent to their espresso maker, they offer a whiskey shot for your coffee; the baristas often recommend this in their nitro cold brew. Bellwether also features a fantastic, friendly atmosphere and a variety of seating options. The decor is sparse and monochromatic, but not to the extent where it doesn’t feel welcoming. Instead, Bellwether feels hip, contemporary and thoroughly minimalist. You’ll find excellent service and attention to details here. This unique Park Hill establishment is a true local favorite.

Cake Crumbs Bakery & Cafe, 2216 Kearney St.

This independent, locally-owned bakery and cafe is definitely charming. Located in the heart of Park Hill, Cake Crumbs features a fantastic menu of baked goods, custom cakes, coffee and seasonal cafe entrees. Patrons love their iced coffee and their standout cafe au lait. If you’re looking for a meal, grab one of their quick on-the-go options or try the delicious Vegan Pam-wich. It features cucumber, beets, and other veggies, along with a cilantro peanut butter chutney. You’ll also find plenty of seating at their vintage style tables or intimate booths. Whether you’re looking for a place to hang out with a cup of coffee or you’re looking to order a special occasion cake, Cake Crumbs has you covered.
