Fall Harvest Festival at Miller Farms

Where: Miller Farms 13912 CR 19 | Platteville, Colo.

When: Daily, Labor Day until mid-November | 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

What: Petting zoo, corn maze, hayrides, kids play area, vegetable picking, and more!

Fritzler’s Fall Days

Where: Fritzler Farm Park, 20861 County Rd 33, LaSalle, Colo. 80645

When: September 18 – October 30 | Fridays: 4-10 p.m., Saturdays: 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Sundays: 12 p.m.-5 p.m.

What:  Fritzler Farm Park offers over 15 attractions during their fall festival events including a Corn Maze, Pumpkin Patch, Pillow Jump, Yard Games, Pumpkin Cannon, Slide Mountain and more.

Corn Maze at Chatfield Farms

Where: Botanic Gardens at Chatfield, 8500 W. Deer Creek Canyon Rd., Littleton, 80128

When: September 16 – October 30, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays: 9 a.m. -5 p.m.

What: An epic corn maze through 7 acres of corn and many other children’s activities. Also features the After Dark Corn Maze and Dead Zone Scream Park.

Oktoberfest Denver

Where: Larimer Street, Denver, Colo., between 20th and 22nd

When: September 16 – 18, and 23 – 25: Fridays, 5-11 p.m., Saturdays, 11 a.m.-11 p.m., Sundays, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

What: Enjoy food booths, German beer, costume contests, and live music.

Chile & Frijoles Festival

Where: Historic Downtown Pueblo/Union Avenue between B Street and City Center Drive

When: September 23 – 25: Friday, 3 p.m.-midnight, Saturday, 10 a.m. – midnight, Sunday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.

What: Green chile takes over at this festival. Enjoy food, live music, crafts, and a farmers’ market.

Pumpkin Patch Festival at Cottonwood Farm

Where: Cottonwood Farms in Lafayette

When: Daily, September 24 – October 31, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

What: 40-acre corn maze, pumpkin patch, animals and more!

Mountain Harvest Festival

Where: Paonia

When: September 23 – 25

What: Farmers’ market, live music, wine tasting, chili-cook off, arts and crafts, and farm tours.

Denver Botanic Gardens Fall Plant & Bulb Sale

Where: Denver Botanic Gardens, 1007 York St., 80206

When: September 30 – October 1, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

What: Hundreds of bulbs, perennials and Grown at the Gardens plants are offered, along with expert advice from our horticulturists. Bring your own wagon!

Maize in the City

Where: 10451 McKay Rd., Thornton,  80233

When: September 24 – October 31 (Times vary, check website)

What: Pumpkins, corn maze, corn launcher, mini train, petting zoo, and more!

Elk Festival

Where: Estes Park, Colorado

When: October 1 – 2

What: Head to Rocky Mountain National Park to witness the annual elk breeding season.

Harvest Week

Where: Ironton Distillery in RiNo, 3636 Chestnut Place, Denver, CO 80216

When: October 4 – 6

What: For the 14th annual celebration of Colorado’s harvest, chefs, and food system, 30 Denver-area chefs will collaborate on a series of five-course dinners paired with Colorado beer, wine, spirits, cider, and more.

Rock Creek Farms Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze

What: Pumpkins, corn maze, farm animals and family fun.

Applefest

Where: Cedaredge, Colo.

When: October 7-9 (Various times, check website)

What: 150+ vendors come to this festival, live music, and more!

Four Mile Historic Park Pumpkin Festival

Where: Four Mile Historic Park, 715 S. Forest St., 80246

When: Oct. 8 – 9: 9 a.m.-6 p.m.

What: Live music, games, food trucks, tractor rides and, of course, pumpkins.

Corn Maze & Pumpkin Festival at Chatfield Farms

Where: Chatfield Farms, 8500 W Deer Creek Canyon Road, Littleton, Colo.

When: October 7 – 9: 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

What: Family and children’s activities, live music, local craft and artisan booths, food trucks and food vendors, beer and wine vendors 

YA YA Farm & Orchard Applefest

Where: YA YA Farm & Orchard, 6914 Ute Highway, Longmont, Colo.

When: October 22 – 23: 3:30-6 p.m.

What: Live bluegrass, barbecue food, lots of apples, hay rides and more!

Glow in the Gardens

Where: Denver Botanic Gardens, 1007 York St., 80206

When: October 18 – 23: 6-9 p.m.

What: The Gardens dresses up for Halloween with luminaria-lined pathways, spooky lighting displays and hundreds of carved, glowing gourds.
