Head to the Denver Botanic Gardens to see this holiday light extravaganza! Warm drinks are available at the Hive Garden Bistro.

Trail of Lights | Now Through Jan. 3 | Littleton

Trail of Lights at Chatfield Farms takes you along a winding path glistening with lights that illuminate the Colorado countryside.

Spread throughout Denver Botanic Gardens Chatfield Farms, Trail of Lights offers visitors a choice of paths; a shorter route takes visitors directly through the children’s play area, while an extended path allows visitors to explore the outside area of the Green Farm Barn and silo before continuing through the children’s area and 1880s homestead.

Fun features this year:

  • Synchronized music in children’s play area
  • Three-sided light tunnel
  • Illuminated antique and model tractors on display

Celebrate the season at Denver’s only authentic German Christmas Market. Festival of Wreaths | Now through Dec. 11 | Aurora

The Aurora Museum Foundations’ annual “Festival of Wreaths” features wreaths generously sponsored and decorated by local businesses, organizations and individuals. Wreaths are sold through an online auction. This year’s proceeds will provide assistance to the Aurora History Museum and Historic Sites. These funds will help ensure the continuation of exhibits, programs and preservation efforts that have been effected by COVID-19.

The Downtown Denver Partnership is transforming the community tradition, 9News Parade of Lights, in 2020! We are thrilled to announce that this year’s Parade will be a multi-week, socially safe extravaganza of activities across downtown. The floats you know and love will be displayed throughout downtown.

The Parade floats will span from Denver Pavilions to Denver Union Station, offering multiple chances for our community to relish in the charm and excitement of the holiday season again and again.

Golden Holiday Light Display | Dec. 4-Feb. 15 | Golden

Golden’s impressive holiday lights transform the charming town into a winter wonderland with the downtown, the Clear Creek Walking Path, Golden History Park, Parfet Park and the Visitors Center spectacularly illuminated with an estimated 45,000 bulbs.

A single giant evergreen tree in front of the Golden Visitors Center is wrapped in approximately 5,000 lights all on its own. Start a new family tradition and bundle up, pick up hot cocoa at a Golden coffee shop, and enjoy an evening walk with holiday lights reflecting in the icy waters of Clear Creek and in the downtown shop windows.
